STOCKS/ECONOMY
-Stock futures are solidly lower after the markets posted their worst week since last September. Tariffs continue to be a focus for investors as they await inflation data later this week.
-The yield on the 10-year Treasury bond is down to 4.23 percent.
-Gold is down to the $2,910 per ounce level. Bitcoin is at the $83,200 level.
-Asian markets closed mostly lower today, led by a 1.9 percent selloff for the Hang Seng. The Nikkei rose by 0.4 percent and the Shenzhen fell 0.2 percent.
OIL/ENERGY
-U.S. crude prices are up, but still at the $67 a barrel level.
-Gasoline prices are down to $3.08 a gallon, national average.
WEIGHT LOSS WARS
-Wegovy maker Novo Nordisk (NVO) reported the latest results for its next generation weight loss drug, CagriSema. It showed an average 15.7 percent weight loss for users after 68 weeks. missing the 25 percent weight loss forecast. Novo Nordisk shares are down 7 percent in the premarket.
DEALS/NO DEALS
-Mortgage giant Rocket Companies (RKT) is buying real estate listing company Redfin (RDFN) for $1.75 billion. Redfin shares are up 76 percent in the premarket, Rocket shares are down 11 percent.
AI MANIA
-Foxconn says it's developed its own AI tool with Nvidia (NVDA) and is using it to improve manufacturing and supply chain management. Foxconn shares gained 6 percent in Asian market trading today. Nvidia shares are down 2 percent in the premarket.
EXCLUSIVE CLUB
-DoorDash (DASH) will be added to the S&P 500 index on March 24. But Coinbase (COIN), which many investors thought would be added as well, was not at this time. DoorDash shares are up 3 percent in the premarket, Coinbase shares are down 5 percent.
